Tastes

Always a go to bottle for me. We have great chemistry! Nose: tea, light oak, Caramel sweets Palate: hot on first taste, green apple, light woody, burnt bread?, something spicy or peppery. A little wetter or oilier on 2nd and 3rd sip. Finish: lingering, tart This is a very approachable and drinkable bourbon that nearly always pleases. This bottle was slightly lighter and not as sweet and rich as I’ve had before but overall well balanced and pretty mellow. Good notes of well balanced sweet and spicy I come to expect from Blantons.

This is the only bottle I've had to give away. It tasted like fake sugar or flat coca-cola. Thin, floral, and with an unpleasant aftertaste. Did not like it even in cocktails. No longer in my collection.

Woody and peaty nose but not harsh. Definitely scotch. Peaty sweet palate. Woodsy. Delicious!

Nose: muted. Sweet. Palate: cornbread. Buttery sweet. Wet. Long finish easy to drink. Very tasty.

Minerals salty refreshing balanced. I love this whisky.

Dried fruit. Wood. Earth. Rich and oily with dry balanced finish. Complex.
