Tastes

The nose is peanut butter jelly. Nice crunchy peanut butter, grape jam, seeded bread. Also smelling some maple covered raisins. The Palate is very round with a nice spike. The spike is musky that I do not like that I get in a lot of craft bourbons. It has a nice brown sugar oak sweetness and some red wine jamminess(is that a word?). The finish is long and drying. Leaving a nice peanut shell and jam taste.

Nice nose that shows the new oak, spiced caramel apples, vanilla, maple covered raisins, with some orange zest in there. Nice sweet and spicy combo. Rich and creamy taste that shows the oak and spice, just a tad alcohol heay. Nice long finish that creates a nice creamy feel in your mouth, dries out your mouth at the end. Good with just a TAD bit ice, which is hard for me to say about any whisk(e)y.

Nose: Meat smoke, band-aids, salty, honey, butterscotch. Palate: Liquid smoke, meaty, some nice salty caramel. Finish: Long, seawater, band-aids come back. Overall super kick your ass amazingness.

Nose: classic bourbon. Vanilla, spice, cherries, orchard fruits, spice, slight oak and smoke. Palate: Spicy, cherry, graham cracker, slight chocolate. Finish: Not short, not long, oak finish. I really enjoy this bourbon. Pretty classic really nothing too special. But a damn good classic.

My number one go to whiskey. Nose: Vanilla bomb, butterscotch, burnt sugar, overall very sweet. Palate: Black pepper, spicy, some nice oak, surprisingly very different from the nose. Finish: Nice long rich spicy finish.
