Woody. Interesting. Not bad. But not great.

For $29 you won’t find anything better. Tried this with eagle rare. Bit more spice, lighter sweetness like honey at the end, rather than the caramel Eagle. Very solid whiskey for the price. Straight was smooth enough, might try a bit of ice next.

Might be the best bourbon I’ve had to date. Plum up front? Then spice/heat kicks in but fades quick to sweetness. Caramel. $32? Crazy good price, tastes like a $70 bottle.

Smoky, salty, slightly sweet. Like a clean warm campfire. Some heat with the 46% but one of the best scotches I’ve had. On sale for $48

Peat, and some more peat. Smooth and simple. Great Scotch.

Super peaty, smooth and sweet. Salty caramel is a great way to describe it. Not sure how much of it I can drink, but it’s good.
