Nutty sweetness on the nose. Light sweetness, vanilla and apples? Fades slowly, but it’s a sweet mellow fade.

A little disappointed by this one. Wouldn’t have paid what I did for it. Can smell the sherry up front. A little bland at first and then (fades?) or I should said opens up to a fruity apple taste. Oddly this rides the line of tasting like a brandy to me.

Solid bourbon. Oaky nose. Sweet hits up front and slowly fades with some spice mixing in. Good balance. This is what I imagine a solid go to bourbon should taste like.

Solid whiskey. Smooth, light, slightly sweet. Easy drinker and requires no rocks. A little on the pricier side but great bourbon non the less.

Good bourbon. Quite a bit of heat. A little water brings out the flavor. For $39 I’d say it’d be close to a go to. Hard to find though.

Best scotch I’ve had to date. Take JW double black and refine it for 10 years and this is what you get. Smooth, smoky, sweet. Complicated delicious scotch. Got different tastes each go round. $90 is a bargain for this.

Not nearly as close to its double oak cousin. Good bourbon, but better ones out there for the price.
