    I was really lucky to get a sample from a friend. Really exciting to taste, and some very solid bourbon. My wife says it’s almost worth the price (I told her $150 a bottle) which is a pretty strong compliment. Nose - big caramel and brown sugar up front, some solid cinnamon and mint, maple syrup, a bit of peanuts, and some sharp wheat notes Palette- medium bodied, spicy, dark caramel, a bit hot, some cinnamon, maybe a bit of black pepper Finish - lingering spice with a touch of maple sweetness, medium heat

    Nose - green apple, some fresh peaches, bitter lemon peel, some maltiness, a bit of dried fruit Palette - sweet with some mild bitterness, honeyed peaches, some mild baking spices Finish - lingering fruit juice sweetness, a bit of dryness at the back of your tongue, mild burn

    Nose - spicy dried fruits, some mint, a bit of citrus zest, a bit of caramel and vanilla Palette - buttery caramel, spices, some dried fruit again, maybe a hint of mint or spearmint Finish - lingering spice, fades to dry, mild burn

    Overall a really fun time. I compared it to standard Jefferson’s Reserve. #3. Maybe a bit more pecan and buttery than the original and I like it better. #4. Heavier tannins and a really dry finish, I like it less than the original #6. Vanilla and butter, some extra baking spice notes, I have about the same preference between this and the original #10. More vanilla and butter here with some dried apricot notes, my favorite one of the batch and I prefer it over the original #12. Nice sweet notes and vanilla, about the same preference for this or the original
