Perfect balance. Eucalyptus, clove, sherry, port, toffee, berries. Amazing whiskey. 4.5

Nice vanilla but not much else going on. 3.25

Ah Glencadam where have you been these last 18 years......not in good quality casks that's for sure. Sweet honey and vanilla on the nose, palate doesn't have a lot going on for it. The favour is faint and quickly over powered by the alcohol. This is going to have to be a 2.5. I expect more from 18 wasted years.

After a shed load of water it was typical Adelphi. Great sherry casking. Solid 4.

Not a bad drop. All the usual suspects for an ex-bourban cask; mild honey etc. Really opened up after the Kilch 09 I paired it with. 3.75.

Bottled in 2017 and one of 371 bottles. Great dram, rough around the edges wine tasting dram. Great value for money at $70USD. Solid 4.

Mid-2000's spirit from Caol Ila. Dramfest `18. Towards end of 2nd day and got chatting to the retailer so forgot notes hence no score or even opinion - I'll let someone else do the rating :-).

Quite harsh, the alcohol overpowered the flavour of the whisky. With a few drops of water the flavour disippated further rather than accentuated. Solid 3

Some distilleries click with me some don't. Edradour doesn't. It doesn't do terrible stuff it doesn't do great stuff. Balance, body and complexity is how I rate whiskey and Edradour nearly always falls at the first hurdle. This time is no exception. Still a good whiskey with rich wine really shining through but very disjointed flavor profile. Still my 1st or 2nd pick of this distillery. 3.75 - The individual parts carry the day despite the sum of them not adding up.
