A good bottle but not worth the over $150 price. I think it needs more proof or maybe should be 15/16 years instead of 18Y. The barrel impact is heavy - oaky but good. If the price was around $100-120 then it would be excellently priced.

Best bourbon under $40 (in my opinion) that goes with everything. Easy to sip, and great in an old fashion. My go-to pour before sampling other bourbons.

Drinks hot. I’m still getting into “higher proof bourbons” and I enjoy some, but this one drinks hot. Reminds me of Four Roses SB Barrel Strenth. Did a blind against Stagg Jr and I picked the Stagg but some others picked this… so it’s comparable.

Great bottle for Old Fashion’s. My normal go-to is buffalo trace but this one just gives you more flavor for special occasions. Easy sipper.

Very nice bottle for under $40. I like to mix it with coke as well. If you like Jack or Russell’s and coke, youll like this bottle a lot.
