For once a sherry cask whisky that isn't overpowering with the taste of raw match heads. Plenty of floral notes and depth. Love the dark color

Hits with the very sweet palate of all Japanese whiskys. Can't say I taste much of the Beam or Canadian in there (that's a blessing), more peated scotch. A pretty rough alcohol taste but the finish is more complex.

Looking for a bottle in the $50-60 range from the duty free, this for the bill. Rather sharp at first but explodes with floral over the pleasingly honey sweetness. Nicely balanced. The notes burn bright and fade fast leaving a surprisingly bland finish but I still feel I got my bang in that first hit. I’ll be buying again.
