Tastes

Tried this tonight at a bar. I wanted to know what peated Whisky was like before buying a whole bottle. Not my thing, tasted like motor oil. I think I'll stick to unpeated.

A friend of mine bought this around the other day. There's no age statement on the bottle or box, but it does say it's aged in sherry casks. I wasn't a fan of the 12 year, but after trying this I may have to go back. This was fruity and smooth.

I find this gets harsher, and harsher as I try new things. It's not bad, I need lots of ice to drink it tho. It's passable which is good cause it's the best most places have

Canadian club + ginger ale + lime = summer. What I go for if its been a long hot day

I remember when I used to drink this with Coke. My wife used to work Friday nights, I'd pour a Jack and Coke, and get busy writing music, it always put me in creative mood. I started exploring better whiskeys when I couldn't stand cola anymore, but this still isn't bad on a few ice cubes

I've had 3 different bottles of this. The first 1 was amazing, sweet, leather, and oak. So good that I bought 2 more. The 2nd bottle was completely different, very bitter and hard to drink. The 3rd is much more like the 1st, just with a touch more spice. 2 outta 3 ain't bad

One of my favourites so far. Sweet, and slightly salty, with a little spice and oak coming in last. Made the best old fashioned I've ever had. Unfortunately I am out

After getting 2/3rds of the way through my bottle I have worked it out. It's a little bit like drink fruit & nut chocolate. Starts with fruit, then moves to chocolate, and finishes with nuts

Really sweet. Too me it tastes like an apricot, and yoghurt muesli bar. Sweet, Creamy, and a little bit earthy

Smooth and sweet to start, but packs a punch on the finish, a good burn though.
