Tastes

This is good. I use this for mixing. For the price if I was going to drink neat, it will be Early Times over this every time, but something needs to be a high quality mixer, and this is the one.

Old Forester is one of my favorites, and the 1910 may be my favorite they make. Great taste, priced right, hits harder than the proof that’s advertised and is just tasty every time. I need to add a bottle of 1920 to compliment this next.

If you like licorice, this will be your favorite of all time. Barrell is on top of the game right now. I will admit, I personally like the Infinite bottle better, but you can’t go wrong so far with any Barrell product. A bit pricy yes, but definitely a unique experience so far in each bottle I have tried. My favorite distiller at this time. Can’t wait to try others, just picked up a bottle of dovetail and that will be next.

This is pretty good. Initially it’s very tasty and smooth, but burns hard after and the aftertaste is not great. That could be because I ate a bunch of nerds candy right before I had this but still. This whole thing of blending different bourbons/whiskeys from around the world definitely gives a very unique taste. Round 2, I like it a lot more, loving the flavor, very unique, and dare I say I like it better than Batch 25. Barrell is slowly becoming my favorite. Enjoying immensely now!

I am a fan. Very tasty. Usually you don’t get sweet in Rye like this, but this is tasty. My bottle is 107 proof and probably feels stronger than that. Enjoying this!

It’s ok. Much better than regular Woodford, but in my opinion not worth the asking price. edit: After a couple of pours, i like it better than initially thought. It’s very smooth and drinks easily. Still, for the price I would get something else, but I wouldn’t say no to it if offered for a great price.

It’s ok, but rare breed is better. By far.

Like this a lot! Sweet, and heat at the end. Great combo. Can’t beat this for the price. If you can, suggest something with this proof and taste for this price. Not much competition.

For under 50 dollars, it’s hard to do better.

Overrated. I bought it because it is so hard to find and I found it, so out of pure curiosity. I ended up selling it to someone in the same boat as me and replacing it with something else. I will pass on this anytime I see it in a store. Like my first word, overrated.
