Old Forester 100 Proof Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed April 10, 2026 (edited April 27, 2026)Think a roasted banana over a vinilla bean ice cream, all top end sugar sweetness, no cherry or dried fruits at all, ethenol isnt bad only really pick it uo in the nose which smells like a extra honey honey nut cherio. I know it’s sacrilege in certain circles but this might be the best thing over ice ive had, Stands up to it really27.0 USD per Bottle -
Its alright, the neck pour was a bit flat on the finish and oak on the intial sip but really just disappears once youve had a few sips and acclimated to the proof. the longer it sits open the more fruity and sweet it gets, still thin on the aftertaste, but while its there, it’s pleasant. Not a bad utility bottle for $35. I can see this being a go to for get togethers where you want a neat pour and the people around you are going to use it for cocktails. Just open it and get ~5 oz out of the bottle so it can breathe first35.0 USD per Bottle
