Tastes

All kinds of fruit on the nose and taste. Almost floral smell as well which is nice. Little bit of dark chocolate that could be covering some berries. Great bourbon.

Nose is Sweet vanilla, some fruit like raisins. Taste has some corn, oak, same fruit but not as sweet. Decent hug in nostrils and stomach on the way down.

Leather and sweet tobacco smell. Taste is spicy. Feel the beam in this. Goes down hard. Not my fav.

Vanilla and Carmel nose. Peanut nose and taste. Good mouth feel. Not rough like you would expect from a cheap drink. Banana and peanut taste. Very enjoyable. It’s like a peanut butter taste that I really enjoy

Oranges and spicy nose. Burnt oak nose as well. Very full taste of oak, vanilla, oranges, and lots of spice. Has to be the rye in it. Finish stays a minute.

Cinnamon and Carmel apple nose. Can easily taste burn that is not with Weller special reserve. Cinnamon goes to the taste as well. Good heat. Lots of spice. Great drink!

Until I taste some of my fav ryes again, this one is on top with Pikesville Rye. Not as strong for sure. Vanilla and fruit nose. More sweet than harsh nose. Taste has the rye but also seems to be closer to a bourbon as the rye is low at 51%. Taste to me is vanilla, berries, oak. Great drink!

Grape/raisin smell. Very fruity smell and I like that. Taste matches the smell. Super easy to drink. No burn for me. Raisin and fruit taste. Floral as well. Buy again.

Carmel and grains on the nose. More grains in the taste. Some Carmel. Unnecessary burn on taste and finish. Likely best with a coke

Peanut nose. Little bite on palate and on way down. Boring taste. Corn. Grainy taste. Won’t buy again.
