Best rye. Candy like taste even though it’s heavy rye. Smell the rye but something different in it than most rye. The rum casks must give it the sweet taste vs the spice you would normally get in a rye. It’s overall very good, probably just for one drink and not multiple. Lots of sugar

Butter and light chocolate smell. Bigger bite than most 90 proof. Stays with you until the end. Light Smokey flavor, good taste of rye. Spices don’t fade, tingle all the way down with a hug that lasts. I feel like I can taste the wild turkey in it.

Smells like a shot you take at a bar when you are 21. Past the alcohol is dark chocolate dipped in alcohol. Taste easy at first, then the bite sits on tongue and follows down throat. The bite of rye is present. Rye turns hard pepper or spice.

I like this bourbon for some reason. Maybe cause it’s the second distillery we visited and maybe the 5th bourbon I ever tasted. So I like it. It’s not the boring smell of regular Jim beam, it’s a burnt smell I like. Burnt vanilla. Taste is what I think burnt Carmel might taste like. I like burned taste in this. Stays on the tongue a bit that helps a good KY hug.

My fav bourbon to always have in hand. Sweet nose, maybe some oranges. A bit of an old school candy bowl at grandmas. Sweet taste that eventually gives you a little Smokey flavor. Try some with a standard pretzel. Brings out a cool flavor.
