Oh yea! Ive been wanting to try this one for awhile and it did not disappoint. This is probably the most dessert-like whisky I’ve ever had. Milk chocolate, pecan pie, toffee, caramel, oak. Delicious! I didn’t pickup any rye until 5 or 6 sips in and then it starts to build slowly towards the end of the pour.

The post-char chisel process definitely ramps up the oak presence. Kinda reminds me of Woodford DO. Toasted oak and dark chocolate on the palate. Great value!

A high value bourbon if there ever was one! Sweet candy nose that carries to the palate. Goes down very easy.

Exceptional value in what I’d call a “traditional” bourbon.
