Tastes

Overall: Forgettable, exactly what a whiskey shouldn't be. On the nose : Honey, Rackhouse, Overall sweet smelling. On the palate : Slight rye spice. Really tiny bit of oak. Little bit of those characteristic menthol qualities you find in some ryes. Very light viscosity, very thin. Really "smooth". Aftertaste is lackluster. Would rather have Sazerac 6 year.

New bottling.Not aggressive. Very peaty palate. Good amount of oak. Deceptive abv. One dimentional with the peat but fantastic. Peat to the core.

Nose - Sweet. Chocolate. Corn. Taste - Spicy. Pickle juice for just a second .Easy to sip for 68%. Corn sweetness comes through. Could drink the whole bottle and not realize it.

Tasty on it's own. Funky from the pot still. Milk chocolate nose. Body is sweet but also tart/astringent. Milk chocolate aftertaste that goes for hours.

For a bourbon, immensily fruity on the nose and the palate. Beautiful banana, honeydew, strawberries. Easy sipping. Fairly priced for quality.
