The initial taste is light rye with notes of dark chocolate and baking spices. The finish reveals toffee and vanilla, with a subtle hint of honey. Overall, it’s a new classic rye whiskey that deserves a regular edition instead of being a limited edition.

    Moskovskaya vodka was a classic vodka in USSR but now muted down.The nose is neutral mountain air with hint of wheat and pepper.The entry is sweet vanilla with a finish of light pepper and spice.It is not a good mixer and medicroe straight.

    Sobieski vodka has varying quality over the years from great to poor.Neutral grain ethanol and mountain air with hint of mint now rises to the nose.The entry is sweet with vanilla and pepper.The finish has a burst of grain ethanol and vanilla.It is drinkable straight but not as a mixer because of the sweet vanilla flovors .The change of quality is now puts it down in the bottom shelf .
