Grand slam home run Been looking so forward to cracking this bottle of 125 proof NCF Saz Everything is subjective so if you like Sazerac Rye to begin with and you've enjoyed the 90 proof after it has under went chill filtration, as well as the 100 proof, there is a very good chance that you're going to enjoy this extra punch. Nose: Sweetness, spice, caramel, overall extremely pleasant no hint of the proof. Pallet: The mouthfeel is thick and extremely satisfying. More caramel and chocolate some fruit continuing that sweetness from the nose. Finish long, warm, once again that sweetness carries through. I have to give this a solid 4.25/5 and will revisit it as I would really like to rate it higher and I'm tempted to do so if I factored in the price this is a steal and could be any high proof lovers daily drinker but yet gives you a experience one can normally only get from a much higher price bottle I believe the 750 ml cost me roughly 31.00. I am amazed based on age and proof this pour is not hotter, as I was expecting some heat all the way through. Saz 125 has by far exceeded my expectations as was hoping it would be a 3.75/5, or better which I rate the 90 proof, 4.0/ 5 I rate the 100 proof. A 0.25 bump is not really enough to differentiate by score, however I can say none of the saz's come close CHEERS!!!!!

REVISIT Truly incredible what Garrison Bros does with Cowboy Bourbon So dark So complex Corn really stands out, not muted as is so common Delicious from nose, to pallet, with a long lasting yummy finish Can't make up my mind on final score 4.5/5 seems too low 4.75/5 might be about right as ZERO flaws Cheers

Bowmore Vintner's Trilogy 26 Year French Oak Barrique
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed September 29, 2025Incredibly tasty. Has exceeded my expectations. Dark, very complex, tremendous mouth feel Chocolate and peat A superior pour -
A quite solid pour I would say the only thing that is lacking is a cork, which I will use one of my old /saved corks I am not a fan of twist off caps. I really can't say anything negative about this 12 year 101 proof classic An enticing nose The pallet has tremendous mouth feel The finish is full-bodied and lingers in a pleasant way I would say a drinks a little bit hotter but not in a bad way then the 101 proof that it said to be.

William Larue Weller Bourbon (Fall 2019)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 29, 2024 (edited January 14, 2025)Classic William Larue Weller nose, such a balance of sweetness, vanilla and other uncut, unfiltered goodness ...no hint that it is 128 Proof Palate Long legs Oak More sweetness Softness of the wheated recipe, however so much mouth feel, WLW just cannot be compared to BT's other wheated recipe offerings as the complexity and flavors are so much more pronounced. Finish Long with some spice Caramel Black pepper Definitely a treat
