Tastes

Nose: Vanilla, marshmallow, pineapple and lemon. Palate: Candy, pine, lemon sherbet, apples and sponge cake. Finish: Light and clean.

Nose: Some dates, slightly sharp plum and apricot wine note, orange zest, toffee, hints of struck match and chocolate raisins. Palate: Fruity, then sweet, more toffee, a touch of anise, milk chocolate flakes, banana toffee pie and apple turnover. Finish: Creamy toffee, a little oak & sweet barley sugar warmth too. Milk chocolate raisins linger. Comment: A little too sweet for my taste.

Nose: Malty, with sweet cream, vanilla notes of candied almonds, toffee, caramel, very thin whiff of smoke. Palate: Sweet & warming, creamy malt, oats & cereal. A spicy vanilla cinnamon dusting too with gentle smoke. Finish: Dark chocolate with caramelized peel.

Nose: Medium, great complexity. Thoroughly fruity, sherry, sweetness, alluring vanilla. Palate: Cloying, seductive muskiness. Rum, barley, toasted almonds. Finish: Spiced fruitcake with crème anglaise.

Nose: Soft honey, fresh apples & a bold oak note at the center Palate: Butterscotch notes which turn into caramel notes, rich & warm. Hints of orange zest & a subtle smokiness. Finish: Packed with vanilla. Smooth.

Nose: Baking spices, cereal, light wood spices. Palate: Gentle oak note, rich butterscotch, spiced vanilla. Develops into soft peppery notes. Finish: Smooth & creamy.

Maïs doux et crémeux. Douces épices de seigle pointant le nez derrière le caramel au beurre, la vanille et les pruneaux cuits, comme le ferait la noix de muscade sur du riz au lait. La vigueur rafraichissante des agrumes est giflée d’épices poivrées brûlantes.
