Tastes

The nose of this bourbon is pleasant, the sweet cherry, mild cinnamon, and a tinge of chocolate. The palate however is so overpowered by a sweetened cherry and ethanol that you can taste little else. This rapidly aged bourbon lacks the nuance and smoothness of a traditionally aged whiskey.

The nosing has a pleasant honey, grape and a slight honeysuckle. On the palate I get slight frosted cereal note with a medley of tree fruits ( like a mix of pear and apple) on the finish it developed a floral note that is slightly oily and persists for a decent amount of time.

Yet another bourbon that has a weighty alcohol burn. Cherry and vanilla are the primary flavors followed by cinnamon and clove. I get a slight butter cracked flavor towards the end, cherry and vanilla remain on the finish.

A strong not of ethanol on the first sip that really stays with you the whole time. Notes of cherry and vanilla pop in and out amid the spicy alcohol note. Nosing on the glass is pleasant with a slight butter, cherry, vanilla, cinnamon, and an earthy note as well. Not my favorite bourbon.
