Tastes

Nose is pretty dull. Not picking up much besides ethanol. Oily and a bit of caramel on the palate, definitely mouth drying as it coats the tongue. Finish is pretty disappointing too for a full proof bourbon. Short to maybe moderate. Definitely better stuff available at this price point

First barrel proof bourbon I had and the one that got me into the bourbon game. Sweet with a great burn on the back end

Good stuff for the price. Lots of sweet fruits notes on the nose. Palate is completely different from the nose; sweet wheat, caramel and honey flavors dominate. Finish is pretty short and one dimensional; not very complex
