Despite the name, lemon notes are slight and juniper remains prevalent. Spicy mouthfeel, decent balance. Not too harsh, but wouldn't call it smooth.

Strong syrup like cherry flavour. Sweet and sticky. Juniper and gin flavours are almost non-existent and is more reminiscent of a cherry liqueur.

Not much complexity but the flavour is smooth and strong. Aftertaste of oak lingers in the throat for a while, sweet and spicy on the tongue but not alcoholic. Strong malty flavour typical of Irish whiskeys detracts from it a little.
