Buffalo Trace has a very distinguishable smell and taste in there bourbons(Blantons, Eagle Rare, BT, etc) This is a very sweet, more fruity, less floral version of Blantons in my opinion. Nose: sweet, spicy, little fruity, soft. Palate: floral and spicy. I feel like I’m getting a dark berry note that’s amazing. Finish is short but nice!25.0 USD per BottleLos Angeles

Angel's Envy Bourbon Finished in Port Wine Barrels
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 24, 2020 (edited April 26, 2020)This is a great bourbon that shouldn’t really be getting the hate that it is. Some people calling it bland just aren’t used to the wide variety of bourbon out there. Nose: typical bourbon; vanilla, caramel, there’s a soft fruit here that obviously comes from the port wine barrel. SMELLS AMAZING Pallet: CARAMEL AND CANDY CORN mixed with hints of fruit and nuts finish: same as pallet but more subtle and a little short. 3 little drops of water: calming down the alcohol a bit really brings out the fruit. This is where you will taste a lot of the wine finish(i get blueberry which is delicious) -

Barrell Craft Spirits Gray Label Bourbon 15 Year (2018 Release)
Bourbon — (bottled in) Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 12, 2020 (edited March 23, 2021)I’ve had so many amazing bourbons. Bucket list bourbons. I takes breaks from barrell and everytime i come back to it I’m shocked how much better this is than most. The nose is so complex i get something different in every pour. It’s nutty, it’s citrus, it’s soft and it’s still bourbon if that makes sense. It’s 106 proof and there is ZERO alcohol on the nose. The pallet is citrus at first, however the more you drink the more you get wood and nuts. If you can find this bourbon do not hesitate to buy it. P.S. smelling the empty glass is the only time i get the “tabacco” smell experts describe. And it’s great. -
The nose is very unique. One of my favorite smelling bourbons. The alcohol is very strong, I’ve tried it straight, with water, and ice. They’re all great. With water it’s very sweet and it brings out every single note you can’t get with all the alcohol in the way. However, after drinking 2-3 glasses with water i got turned off by the sweetness. It felt like i was drinking candy. It’s fruity, sweet, strong, and spicy. I highly recommend to add this to your collection/bucket list.40.0 USD per Bottle

Willett Pot Still Reserve Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 9, 2020 (edited March 24, 2020)On the nose i get melted butter and cinnamon. On the pallet you get the nose plus a nice smoke and hint on citrus.45.0 USD per BottleWilmington -
This is very comparable to four roses single barrel. Almost the same, except this has less cinnamon on the nose and a softer palette. If your considering this but wary of the price I’d highly suggest getting Four Roses Single Barrel first for half the cost. If money isn’t an issue I’d tell you to get both bourbons, have some fun and blind taste test them together. With that being said, this bourbon is delicious and you will enjoy it, but you can find a cheaper alternative in Four Roses single barrel if price is a concern.79.99 USD per BottleWilmington
