Nose: fruity, cherry-like smell, slightly floral as well. Cherry syrup comes to mind. Slight maple aroma after the whiskey opened up, with a bit of cinnamon and brown sugar. Taste: oak and cherry cola, with some cinnamon and brown sugar notes. With some water added I got some baked goods tastes. Finish: had some heat to it but was smooth for a 100 proof. After a few seconds the finish was dry with oaky notes.
