Aroma: cinnamon dominates, brown sugar and a hint of peanuts and fenugreek. Flavor: cinnamon, corn sweetness, slightly bitter oak. Has a slight youngness to it but really not too much. Overall: I tasted this blind and was surprised that it's only 93 proof, it packs a huge spice punch! The large amount of rye helps hide the age but with some water that comes right back. If I find it on sale I'll probably pick up a bottle

    3.5 out of 5 stars
Aroma: a little muted, sweet corn, and a touch of cinnamon Flavor: at first it comes off as a little simple just sweetness with undertones of cinnamon but once it starts to open up the spice becomes more prevalent and is quite enjoyable Overall: There isn't a whole lot going on but when it opens up it's a nice easy sipping rye heavy bourbon

Aroma: sweet corn, cinnamon, mint and a hint of citrus. Flavor: sweet tea immediately followed by cinnamon and a touch of mint. Finish is medium, the cinnamon lingers with a touch of oak. aroma: sherry, vanilla, apples, honey, cherry flavor: seems young, has a dusty oak flavor, sherry, apples, cherry and sweet malt finish: medium length, bitter oak and a hint of cherry overall: decent scotch, especially for the proof and price. it has a good punch of flavor but not that refined

    Bourbon — Kentucky, USA

    Tasted
    4.25
    4.25 out of 5 stars
Aroma: sweet fruit compote jumps out of the glass. You get some oak but this is all cherry and stone fruit. Taste: the sweetness is balanced very nicely by the oak. It's exactly like the aroma, cherry and ripe stone fruit Overall: not the most complex bourbon out there but if you like Buffalo Trace products like eh Taylor you'll love this
    14.0 USD per Pour
