Had to revisit this one after replacing my old bottle that was from a bad batch of HP12. Much better this time. Silky smooth mouth feel with a sweet and mildly smoky flavor. Honey, citrus, peat, a little bit of everything in one package. Sherry comes through alot more this time. Almost like a peated Macallan.

A full bodied rich Bourbon with strong smoke and oak notes. Could be a bit more balanced but there is just enough vanilla and fruit. Particularly dried cherries and peppery spice. Can be a bit medicinal. Cherry cough syrup to be precise. Makes a very nice Old Fashioned.
