Glenmorangie Nectar D'or 12 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed April 22, 2014 (edited April 24, 2018)Very sweet and spicy, so fruity it reminds me of Bourbon, except most Bourbons costs half the price. Complex fruit flavors like coconut, melon and vanilla. I could pour this over my pancakes but the price is a bit steep for what it is. -
Glenlivet 12 Year Double Oak
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed April 21, 2014 (edited December 27, 2014)Sweet, refreshing and easy to drink. Creamy with surprising complexity. Prominent green fruit notes like pear, apple and flowers, some vanilla as well. Not the longest finish but for the money it's a great value. I can see why this is so popular. -
Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed April 20, 2014 (edited April 24, 2018)Very sweet and fruity with a long finish. Surprisingly complex and refined. Might be too sweet for some but the depth of flavor is impressive.
