Auchentoshan 12 Year
Single Malt — Lowlands, Scotland
Reviewed December 27, 2014 (edited September 21, 2019)I found the 12 yr., to be somewhat on the stronger side of there selections of Auchentoshan. Not saying that this is a bad thing, I think I was expecting moreof a rounded taste on the front end and less bite on the tail end. There are hints of vanilla, florals, and a touch of cinnamon or spice. All in all, I think this is a good company, card night type of sipper. -

Bruichladdich The Laddie Ten
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed October 29, 2014 (edited December 15, 2015)I am so upset that they stopped producing the Laddie 10. This was by far one of the best, keep in the house for a few friends Scotch's there was. Smooth with a hint of peat; just a hint, silky and worth sipping very slow.
