Revisiting this after 7 months of this being opened... It’s aged beautifully. The sharpness and heat have left and sweetness has taken its place. Really something special.

N - oak, subtle spice, dark chocolate, caramel, hints of cherry, vanilla, leather P - medicinal cherry, brown sugar and oak, pretty oily and little bit of heat F - pure awesomeness, a long sweet finish with little bites of cherry along the way Drank neat, added a couple drops of water and it opened it up nicely

N - I’m with the expert, definitely earthy with some orange tones, maybe cherry P - Very interesting, it’s tangy but in a good way. I agree with the cereal grain and maybe some leather or tobacco. A drop or two of water really makes this thing shine. F - Pleasant and smooth, cherry and vanilla finish First of my btac for 2019 and thoroughly enjoyed this one. It’s got a very unique profile. If you can find it at retail get it all day, secondary pricing I honestly think there’s some better choices out there.

At first I didn’t understand why the reviews were so harsh on this...then I tried a couple ounces. It’s got a pretty harsh nose, initial palate is sweet with a little bit of pepper. The finish is probably the worst I’ve ever had...it literally just drops off and almost tastes like carbonated water.

Genuinely surprised - sweet notes on the nose and a nice mellow vanilla/caramel palate. Short finish but for around $50 it’s a solid choice to keep you off the expensive stuff

Neat - just a whole lot of fire and spice. Was the last couple of pours for this bottle so it had been open a while, still not much flavor to discern aside from the baking spices. Probably my least favorite of the 2018 lineup

Baking spices on the nose, kick in the mouth of cinnamon and spice on palate. Smooth cherry finish.

Very nice nose, subtle but spicy. Pepper kick in the mouth but surprisingly smooth going down. Drink it neat and let it sit a minute to open up.
