Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed February 4, 2016 (edited February 13, 2016)Nose: big, concentrated smokey and leathery. Sweet spices, mature sherry and creamy vanilla. Feint citrus aroma. Taste: Very thick and rich. A massive and oily mouthful. Good fruity sweetness, also wonderful and big, but integrated peat smoke. Peppery spice. Finish: Long, spicy finish. Ancho Chile and dried fruit. More peat smoke, some chocolate and vanilla. Great whisky.
