    A smoke bomb... but for peat lovers... a bargain. Tasty and smooth... but a bit much. IMHO... there are many peated single malts that are more subtle... and superior. A "96" is pushing it.

    Not much love for this blend... unfortunate. Sure, if compared to high end single malts... it likely comes up wanting... but for the price... a 5 star bargain. I drink on the rocks with a twist... takes the small amount of grain alcohol bite away... nice peat presence, but not a steamroller found in many Islay malts... IMO, this is superior to a big seller, JW Red. For those who enjoy good scotch, with some peat presence... but have a tight budget... a superb everyday sipper. A nice step up for bargain hunters... Tomatin Dualchas.

    I found this whisky to be superb... is it overpriced? Sure to be disagreement... but this is GREAT Scotch. So smooth... yet complex... sweet but not cloying. Me? I'm keeping for special occasions... as the $250 price tag is, IMO... high.

    Great everyday sipper... for the price... xlnt. Smooth, sweet, VERY enjoyable... Only a few bucks more than many popular blends... BTW: For a real bargain, try Tomatin.

    I think Reyka is xlnt. A very bold, fresh taste... unique. Great on the rocks with a squeeze... BIG flavor! For vodka martinis... I prefer a smoother vodka... Kettel One, Beluga, Tito's, Stoli Elite...

    A superb Plata... my favorite... yes, has some big but natural agave sweetness... not to everyone's taste... but ultra smooth, great and subtle agave flavors, very nice bottle... total enjoyment. Price is on the high side... but IMO, worth every penny. I recommend El Tesoro Blanco for those who prefer a less sweet blanco.
