I found a bit of a sweet cereal note on the nose. Followed by oak and licorice on the finish and just enough burn. Amazingly smooth for a rye. My favorite rye to date.

Smooth. Very little alcohol burn. Hint of smoke and charcoal but light on flavors. Not a bad pour by any means, but not great. Probably just right for its price point.

This was surprisingly VERY good! Not as spicy as most rye I’ve had and it’s a little light on the mouthfeel. But the taste is terrific. I caught a bit of banana nut on the palate and finished with caramel. Very easy to drink.

This was bad. I couldn’t finish even the 2oz sample bottle. The palette was like onions and I have no idea what the finish was. Pass.
