Nice maritime influence and definitely a quiet performer. Feels like fruits (pears!) from hakushu got blended with richness from Yamazaki. Yes has hints of Japanese whiskies and is of good value

Well peated and nicely played with regards to complexity. My first try of Akkeshi and am appreciative of its qualities. This new distillery is one to look out for

Take 2 - such good value at about aud 140 or SGd 120. Ticks all the right boxes and is just so enjoyable. True harmony is the only way to express this. A top Japanese that’s still available that is a crowd pleaser

Rich and complex - has the premium macallan experience to it. Tried this at DFS Singapore but for the price plenty of others to pick from. Ended up picking the limited highland park 15 cask series for much less and hoping that’s going to turn out well

Distiller should get this reviewed when they can. Love the singnet and this lives up as well. Honey and soft balanced citrus and a tinge of spice that all work well together. The pears kick in towards the end and it’s a rewarding finish

Spicy rich and vanillic. Had this one from a miniature out in the cold so maybe it did taste extra good
