This is described as a halfway between malt and rye whiskies and it uniquely stands out here Very smooth with sweet honey and oak. This is simply an excellent breakfast whisky profile(the guys at Sullivan’s cove should take note) Well done Sydney !

Sweet, gentle spices, creamy and quite clean. It all works well with this one and it’s also priced right. Would make a good day to day for some

Nice maritime influence and definitely a quiet performer. Feels like fruits (pears!) from hakushu got blended with richness from Yamazaki. Yes has hints of Japanese whiskies and is of good value

Take 2 - such good value at about aud 140 or SGd 120. Ticks all the right boxes and is just so enjoyable. True harmony is the only way to express this. A top Japanese that’s still available that is a crowd pleaser
