One of my favourites! Absolutely delicious straight, where it rewards with a broad range of flavours not seen in more common whiskies. Quick briney bite at the start, bursting into full flavour as the peat drives from below and gentle sweetness rides at the top, over the complex mix of fruit, nut and wood, lingering on a slightly oily texture. Too good to mix, not even an ice cube is welcome here, just enjoy as it is.

Quite a light offering, leaning towards fruitiness but with a little wood and brine. Pleasant for the price.

Very average, smooth, caramel, vanilla with a hint of brine. Certainly not worth the price tag. Not recommended.

Straight this has a strong smokey flavour with a touch of brine that smoothens out to a more vanilla and caramel tone to finish. Add an ice cube and a sweetness drives through from the start. This could become my new "cheapy".
