Tastes

Pour is a light medium gold. Peaty, smoky, and a hint of ocean in the nose. Saltiness comes through stronger on further sampling. Front is briefly soft, before intensifying in the middle with a burst of peaty goodness. An additional burst in the finish. This is a really nice malt. If you enjoy Islay whiskies, this won't disappoint, at a little more than Ardbeg or Laphroaig and much less than Lagavulin.

Pours a nice copper that grows bolder the bigger the pour. Nose is sweet, vanilla and spice. Briefly soft at the front, then a nice bite in the middle. Vanilla notes throughout with caramel coming through in the finish.
