Bardstown Bourbon Co. Fusion Series #6
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 8, 2022 (edited February 12, 2022)First impression is a nose that’s soft, light alcohol smell but pleasant with a light spice up front when sipped neat but fades too quickly. Overall it’s what I call an ok pour but for the money there’s as good or better pours out there at a cheaper price points. -
Basic budget bourbon that is a little rough around the edges when comparing it to something like a Makers. Even with said that the ease of available and the low price point makes this bourbon a fine choice for the person thats not picky and just wants to have nightly pour without the costs associated with the higher brands.

Great bourbon that is smooth and rounded because of the wheat vs rye mix. It’s an excellent choice for the person that just wants to enjoy a quality bourbon anyway they like it neat, dirty or mixed without the big bold flavors or punch some of the others with higher proofs and rye mixtures might have.

Old Forester 100 Proof Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 6, 2022 (edited February 20, 2022)A really solid bourbon that I find myself reaching for regularly. Excellent flavors that come through nicely in an old fashion or drinking it neat.It may come across a little much for the beginners drinking it neat or the bourbon drinker that just prefers a lower octane that’s more rounded like regular Makers. -
Don’t let the name wild turkey fool you this is an excellent bourbon that’s easily found at a great price point that will regularly in blind tasting will come out toward the top of the line up even with those that snub it because of the name alone. I recommend picking a bottle up and you’ll likely be pleasantly surprised with it
