Tastes

Peat sweet with some nice smoke. Ive had it neat and with water (up to 1:1) and there’s just another facet to explore. peat and smoke on the nose. Sweet and more peat...oily on the palate. Short to medium finish. A little hay with lingering peat. Good stuff.

Grapes, honey, vanilla, some wood on the nose. Smooth oak, some malt sweet and a little tannin in the taste. not a long finish. It’s a good Scotch. Balanced and smooth.

Peat and smoke and some ripe fruit on the nose. Peat and smoke continue on the palate but neither overwhelming and some nice malty sweetness underneath and a moderate oily mouth feel. Some pepper in there as well. Lovely peaty finish though not long. Just opened tonight so will be interesting to see how it continues.
