Tastes

Nose: toasted marshmallows, vanilla Palate: sweet, vanilla, tobacco Finish: smoky, dry tobacco, slight burn

Sweet on the nose. Palate: caramel, vanilla, cinnamon roll Finish: nice spice, sweet finish, hint of honey at the tail end This has everything I like in bourbon. So good!

Nose: heat from the alcohol, wood, vanilla Palate: vanilla, wood Finish: dry like a red wine, wood Trying it with my brother in law and I'm laughing because it really just taste like wood and vanilla for me. No nonsense, just good whisky!

Nose: butterscotch, caramel, vanilla Palate: oily mouth feel, vanilla, caramel, earthy notes Finish: toffee, and a flavor I can't put my finger on (but I like it) I usually don't like bourbons with rye >25% but this is just awesome.

This is noticeably darker than my other bourbons on the shelf. Nose: butterscotch and maple syrup Palate: figs, maple syrup, cherry (got alot the first time i tried it), smoke from the barrel Finish: tobacco, oaky, nice warm lingering mouth feel I am in the same boat as others. It's a cool bourbon to try and presents some different flavors than what's widely available; however, $50/375 mL is steep.

Nose: Banana bread and vanilla Palate: banana, maple syrup and pancakes, vanilla, and oak Finish: nice slow burn with coco and oak taste that lingers

Nose: honey suckle and cinnamon Palate: complex fruit/sweetness at first that then moves to oak and cinammon Finish: smokey and leathery finish

Nice legs on the glass. Spiced cake on nose. Sweet corn on front followed by vanilla and oak. Finished with hints of dark cherry.

The legs break into beads on the glass. Same holds for the bottle which looks like it has condensation inside it. Spicy from start to end. Tabacco on front with sweet cinnamon and vanilla notes. Finishes with an oaky taste with slight bitterness. Left a dryness in my mouth that reminds me of a dry red wine. It's a fine bourbon for ~$30-35. Probably be good in a Manhattan or Old Fashion.
