On the nose: peat -light and sweet (to be fair, I'm new to prayed scotch so it's prevalent to me), almond, fresh leather, slightly floral but I can't tell exactly what. Palate: slightly oily, a bit of a delay but the peat is a nice undertone -definitely not overpowering to a new peated whiskey drinker, really intriguing peppery flavor comes in after about 5 seconds

Nose: Green apples with light cinnamon and sugar just before going into a homemade pie. Palate: more strong apple flavor, very light smoke, sort of a subtle oaky nuttiness Finish: short and sweet. Pretty much exactly what I'm looking for in a daily sipper. I like this neat. To be honest, I haven't tried it with ice yet but I don't want to change a thing about this. Feels right for fall. :)

I was completely startled by what this was on my first drink of it; because of the sharp contrast to what I had expected I was not immediately a fan. Lucky I have the whole bottle to get through and each time I drink it, I confirm more and more what this is.....is a dessert in a cup. The rich, creamy, spices and nearly overbearing sweetness is VERY good if that's what you're looking for. This is definitely one of my prized bottles now that I feel like I can actually appreciate it for what it is.
