Tastes

Vanilla all day, you can taste the port through and through. An incredibly smooth bourbon from start to finish. For the price I would highly recommend.

A lot of hype around eagle rare and I don’t think it fully lives up to it. Make no mistake it’s still a solid bourbon. Opening comes with some spice and solid burn. Thought it was sweet throughout with a good aftertaste that was good in length. To me it’s an easy drinker though I do like others in this price range above it.

Very subtle opening, but full and smooth throughout. Got caramel, honey, vanilla throughout. Aftertaste isn’t terrible long. All around a great whisky to sip neat. A great selection for those starting out in the whisky game.
