Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 4, 2020 (edited December 17, 2020)My bottle was a store pick. The smell is like a light cologne with wood and vanilla notes. The taste is clean, feels like fresh spring water in your mouth. Sometimes I get a hint of smoke/char. Dominant flavors are fresh wood and vanilla. Sweet but not overwhelming. Feels warm going down. Overall a quality whiskey and a good value. -
Evan Williams White Label Bottled in Bond Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 12, 2019The aroma is cinnamon and alcohol. The first sip hits with a burst of sweetness which evaporates quickly, like it's covered in powdered sugar that dissolves on your tongue. After that, strong spicy cinnamon (think Red Hots). Lingering cinnamon/chili spice feeling on the tongue. A bit of slightly herbal woody notes and boozy grains. Light to medium body. Not super sweet overall. A very drinkable bourbon for the price.20.0 USD per Bottle -
No off flavors, but very mild and watery. Nose of pancake syrup. Flavors of caramel (but not super sweet), light baking spice, some green fruit notes. Very clean and watery at first, although you do feel the heat if you let it sit in your mouth. Wish it had more flavor and body. Too pricey for what you get.28.99 USD per Bottle
