Pleasant and tasty, way more character than the standard 18 year bottling. Water opens it up quite a bit and you can get more of the mizunara oak notes. Well worth the money imo especially since it’s unfiltered and 48%.

Amazing peat experience, nothing like I’ve had before. Takes a little getting used to but it’s brilliant once you do.

Nice light fruity nose, mid palate has lots of flavor but the finish ends too bitter and harsh for my liking. Also there is a pretty strong astringency to this malt, I’m usually not sensitive to this proof but you can definitely feel it here. Maybe needs more time in the bottle?

Delicious almost bourbon like. Bananas foster and semi sweet bitter chocolate on top. Quite delectable.
