On the palate - silky full mouth coat, hint of vanilla bean and cinnamon on the palate. One of my favorite everday go to drams. Afraid to tell you how good it truly is. Very affordable and I would buy one before the hype and price goes up. Paid 45usd -

Reviewed April 18, 2017 (edited November 6, 2017)Nice everyday dram and a good alternate to the Macallan 18. Not as long lasting but still offers complexity and a nice nosing experience. I taste sherry, and walnut, fresh baked goods, semi sweet chocolate. Need to give it a proper second dram and spend a good half hour on the nose for sure since it has been opened after about a month. Paid 60 -

Reviewed April 18, 2017 (edited June 26, 2017)On the nose heavy Sherry, Dark Chocolate, Walnut, Spice, Mexican Vanilla, Mexican Cinnamon, nutmeg, espresso. On the palate: Chocolate Cake, Wedding cookies, Coffee, full mouth coating and very long lasting. Complex Dram to be nosed and enjoyed for at least an hour. No burn or spice on the finish. No water or ice recommended. One of my new favorites only after the Macallan 18. -

Reviewed April 18, 2017 (edited June 6, 2020)Bought a spare to save for later at 124usd. Vintage Macallan flavor for a 21yr old distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2012. I plan to enjoy the next dram for a special occasion. -
GlenDronach Allardice 18 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed April 18, 2017 (edited November 6, 2017)On the nose: fresh brownies, cinnamon, nutmeg, coffee, spice. On the palate: milk chocolate, barley, viscous, full mouth feel, not too sweet on the finish. Distilled in 1995 Bottled in 2016 aged 21 years but still not as complex and long lasting as the parliament 21 yr old. Paid only 160. -
