Launched Stateside in September 2016, Yoichi Single Malt is a peated single malt that replaces the beloved aged expressions of the same line: Yoichi 10, 12, 15, and 20 that have been discontinued.

Distilled from malted barley and aged using a variety of casks including new American oak and ex-sherry casks, it is bottled at 45% ABV.

Tasting Notes
"Some peat, not much, is present on the aroma along with moss, cedar, and barley. Further inhalations expose chocolate and candied oranges. The palate is more spice driven than plush and the peat really doesn't show up until the finish where it is of moderate strength. You're also left with some dark malt and some vanilla."
