Pretty perfect whisky if only it wasn’t so damn expensive! Little spicy pepper notes. Nice warm smell.

Really good for a cheap whisky! Taste and smell is pleasant. Slight smoky taste. No bad, lingering aftertaste. This will be my new standard bottle.

Overall: Pretty disgusting! Reminds me of the taste of very cheap “cigars” you may buy at corner shops and petrol stations in some countries. The aftertaste lingers. Not easy to describe. In my imagination chewing cigarette butts from an ashtray that has been sitting there for a long time should come pretty close. Even after brushing you teeth you can’t get rid of that awful aftertaste! Tried to give it 0 stars but can’t. So 0.25 it is … because it contains alcohol… A much better option is Black & White (closer to Jameson, plus a bit of a smokey taste).

Very similar to Chivas Regal. Notes a bit different but VERY similar. Very drinkable. Definitely MUCH better than the cheapest Ballantine’s.
