I expected it to be much better than the original but it was only by a little bit.

A different kind of whisky.

The cherry finish does make it a bit better than the original.

Gorgeous bottle, average bourbon.

If you're not the kind of person who exclussively enjoys smooth whiskey, this might present itself as a good offering. It's rather spicey and comes with a bite. There is certain complexity to it but brings a rather short aftertaste. Will definetely look out for the older Glenturret expressions.

Yet another gem from Islay, up there with the 10YO from Laphroig, Ardbeg, and Talisker.

Great character whiskey with no artificial color, no chill filtration and a higher ABV.
