Tastes

Good for mixed drinks. Pretty weak due to being cut down to 80 proof, but at 10 bucks a fifth, I keep a bottle around to mix with Coke. Very light and watery neat

Amazing nose. Smells like perfection, then you take a sip and it dissapoints. Very basic bourbon. C

Great bourbon. Notch up from the stagg jr. In the smooth front. But still fire. Got some rich tobacco up front and then some tannins and just classic full on bourbon tone. Had a ring of charcoal and barrell sediment in the bottom of my glass. Real man shit. A

Little bit of sweet on the nose, but equal parts alchohol burn. Really muted flavour and too much burn. Not a fan. Would opt for rittenhouse over this

Pretty basic and fairly watered down tasting. Wouldn't buy again

Too overly syrupy sweet with some funky artificial toffee tastes. Not a big fan

Greatly nice smooth wheater nose. Great smooth aged flavour, somewhat less preferable than the 20 and 10 yr olds that I've had.

Really good bourbon. Smooth nose with a light burn. Probably my least favorite van winkle, but great nonetheless

Reminded me of a weaker ec12. So I will just stick with ec. Not bad but pretty tame
