Tastes

I was once shamed for mixing this with ginger ale by an Irishman in Amsterdam. Since then I've only asked for whiskey neat. The Irish take their whiskey seriously. Even if it is just regular old Jameson. Since then my tastes have refined and haven't touched the stuff in ages. But if I did it would be mixed with Ginger Ale. lol

Stop being dumb and searching for Pappy. Buy a bottle of Booker's. No matter what batch.

This is very good bourbon. Very complex. The nose is all Cherry soda. Great long finish and gives you that warm tingly feeling. Reminds me of Booker's, which is a favorite. I feel this is far superior to Rowan's Creek. Who needs Pappy when there's bourbons like these out there?

Longest finish of any bourbon I've tried to date. Must use ice cubes. 3.5/5
