    Appearance: Carmel brown. Nose: pretty strong maple, a little brown sugar and some campfire smoke. Taste: rich smokiness. Alcohol burn. Lingers on the palate with a honey-like sweetness. Overall: smokiness was a shock at first. Definitely a bold, rich taste that isn’t for everyone. Gotta be in the mood.

    Appearance: crystal clear. Nothin else to say bout that. Aroma: rubbing alcohol. Yuck. Tiiiiny trace of lime juice. But like fake hi-chew lime. Taste: ethanol. Wow lots of ethanol. Some jolly rancher lime. Overall: golly this is not good. — Disclaimer: this is my first ever taste of straight vodka.

    Appearance: as clear as can be with the most subtle haze. Nose: alcohol forward. Some agave. Taste: smooth with an agave sweetness. Overall: basic. Easy drinking. Probably won’t drink straight again. Best suited as a mixer.

    Appearance: clear to straw-like. Almost like a thinly colored white wine. Nose: oak, agave, and slight lime citrus. Taste: fruit forward but without the lime citrus. Pretty agave forward, but maybe a bit vegetal. Some white pepper too. Overall: easy drinking and lacks that punchy lime-like agave burn. Would make a good mixer as it screams of subtlety.
