Drammers club pour. Very good with notes of Smoke, Pineapple, Chocolate, Almonds, Flowers, Toffee, Raisins, Chili Pepper, Salt, Citrus, Grilled Meats, Orange, Mackerels, Fish, and a creamy mouthfeel.

Had this right after double cask 2nd edition and liked this more. This is bright and deep with notes of grass, mint, flowers, chocolate, banana, vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, caramel, citrus, bread, and lots of rye spiciness in a smooth manner.

Very good with notes of dates, raisins, prunes, cherries, espresso, toffee, coconut, orange, orange peels, caramel, pepper, dark chocolate, and oak. Think I like the Paul John PX more as that is less oaky than this.

Had a sample of this at a friend’s apartment tonight. Very good highland park style sweet peat. Nose: Chocolate, Peat, Smoke, Raspberry, Vanilla, Toffee, Cherry, Strawberry, Flowers Palate: Cherry, Citrus, Blackberry, Oak, Chocolate, Tar, Pepper Finish: Chocolate, Smoke, Raspberry, Cherry, Flowers, Pepper

Had this at a friend’s tonight. Very enjoyable with far more sweet wine cask tasting notes with a few peaty notes mixed in. Just behind Octomore 8.2. Nose: Mango, Honey, Pineapple, White Chocolate, Pear, Flowers, Peat, Vanilla, pepper Palate: Peat, Caramel, Chocolate, Pepper Finish: White Chocolate, Honey, Apricot, Cherry, Flowers

Nose: Peat, Iodine, Chocolate, Caramel, Salt, Almonds, Raisins, Citrus, Baking Spices, Flowers Palate: Raisins, peat, chocolate, cherry, salt, Pepper Finish: potato chips, raisin, chocolate, flowers, apricot, cherry

Had a sample of this at my friend’s apartment. Aged 8 years and 9 months, this is great stuff, better than the 8 Year Greedy Angels. Rum and Tropical Aging always match.
