Ardbeg smoke and blueberries, dark chocolate, and citrus meld together perfectly. A green sour fruit bomb Nose: Pears, Kiwis, Bananas, Marshmallows, Smoke, Bacon, Plums, Eucyptalus, Vanilla, S’Mores Palate: Kiwis, Green Apples, Smoke, Pears, Sultanas, Iodine, Walnuts, Pineapples, Coconuts Finish: Smoke, Iodine, Brine, Kiwis, Pears, Green Apples, Bacon, Ash, Honey, Caramel, Blueberries, Sour Patch Watermelon

Wow. Tantalizing combination of sherry, beef, smoke, spice, and salty fish. Reminds me of a Lagavulin Sherry Cask, many tasting notes found in the 2016 25 Year, 2012 21 Year, and 1980s 12 Year. Whiskyfest pour. Really good with notes of Raisins, Gingerbread, Toffee, Christmas Cakes, Almonds, Guava, Luxardo Cherries, Blueberries, Milk Chocolate, and Grapefruit. Would be one of my all time favorites if it was at cask strength.

2024 release. Aged in a combination of Oloroso, PX, Port, and European Oak, it is phenomenal. Got one of the last vip hour whiskyfest pours out of a sample bottle. Loaded with notes of Raspberries, Dark Chocolate, Toffee, Blackberries, Cinnamon, Christmas Cakes, Grapefruit, Marzipan, Date Syrup, Cloves, Ginger, and Candied Oranges.

Whiskyfest pour. Fantastic with loads of honey, wildflower, raspberries, papayas, pineapples, raisins, and almonds.

Very good with notes of honey, raspberries, butterscotch, sandalwood, brown sugar, raisins, coconuts, plums, pears, and mineral-like rice notes.
